La universidad asume el concepto de Calidad como la doble consistencia interna (hacer lo que se dice) y externa (pertinencia con el medio social). Por lo tanto, el mejoramiento y aseguramiento de la calidad implica el cumplimiento irrestricto de los prop\u00f3sitos institucionales y de su Misi\u00f3n\/Visi\u00f3n. Lo anterior, en consecuencia con las normas y pol\u00edticas nacionales que regulan a las instituciones de Educaci\u00f3n Superior.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">2. La Calidad debe ser evidenciada en las tareas acad\u00e9micas propias de la universidad y en la gesti\u00f3n, en las \u00e1reas formativas y en la generaci\u00f3n de conocimiento, as\u00ed como, en las interacciones mutuas con la Regi\u00f3n de Valpara\u00edso y el pa\u00eds.
